2 types of mathematical gradient: Circular and linear one, both with arrows. The blue arrows direct from white to black.

Since arrows are commonly used for vectors instead of scalars, these pictures are more appropriate for divergences instead of gradients.

I made it as a replacement for with Inkscape.
